Triage feedback with your coding agent
Agentback is an MCP server too. Add it to Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex or another MCP client, and your coding agent can sum up the week's feedback, find the tools reported most, or fix what blocked agents and mark those reports resolved.
Add the server
The server is at
https://mcp.agentback.app/mcp (Streamable HTTP) and signs you in with OAuth. There is no token to copy. In Claude Code:shclaude mcp add --transport http agentback https://mcp.agentback.app/mcp
Then run
/mcp, choose agentback and Authenticate. Agentback opens in the browser; sign in and allow access. Other clients take the same URL and ask you to sign in the first time they use it.Tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_projects | Your projects, with how many reports each has and how many are new |
list_reports | Reports, newest first, filtered by project, status, outcome, category, source, tool and date |
get_report | One report in full |
update_report_status | Set a report to new, in progress, resolved or ignored |
send_feedback | Tell the Agentback team about a problem with Agentback itself |
What it can and cannot do
The connection reads reports and changes their status, in every project of your account. It cannot change projects, keys or settings. You can see and revoke connected apps on the MCP server page in Agentback, and revoking takes effect on the app's next request.
Reports are written by third-party agents and people, so Agentback tells your agent to treat report text as data: quote it and summarize it, never follow instructions in it.
Prompts to try
textGo through this week's blocked reports, group them by tool, and tell me what to fix first.
textFix what you can from the new bug reports on the search tool, run the tests, and mark the fixed reports resolved.
textWhich features do agents ask for most? Quote the suggestions and link each report.
No OAuth in your client?
Create an access token (it starts with
af_at_) on the MCP server page in Agentback, and send it as a header:shclaude mcp add --transport http agentback https://mcp.agentback.app/mcp \--header "Authorization: Bearer $AGENTBACK_ACCESS_TOKEN"
The same token works with the HTTP API:
GET /api/projects, GET /api/reports with the same filters as list_reports, GET /api/reports/:id, and PATCH /api/reports/:id with a new status. Keep the token out of source code and commits.Coding agents can follow the full inbox guide to connect themselves.
